What is the minimum start-up cost needed to open a store?
A: As the BilliardEx product line continues to grow, the price for opening a store increases as well. The estimated minimum price for opening a store is $100,000.
What square footage do you require for your stores?
A: An ideal size for most locations is between 1,500 and 3,000 square feet.
How long does it take to open a store?
A: The store opening and approval process varies according to each location. If, for example, you would like to have your store open by August, here is an estimated time-line:
February: Request information on how to open a BilliardEx store and submit financial application.
March: If application is approved, you would begin looking for a location. April: Find an available location and submit a business plan to BilliardEx
May: Representatives from BilliardEx¹s Sales Department would conduct a location approval visit
June: If location is approved, you would sign an agreement with BilliardEx and your leasing agent, and begin the store opening process
July: Ship product and other build-out items to the store location and begin the build-out
August: Open your BilliardEx store to the public
This process may take longer or shorter depending how fast you find an available store location. The process generally takes around 7 months but
varies significantly per location. We have had stores open in under 90 days from the time of the first call, while others have taken longer than a year.
